Another Time-Art Deco to 50's

Donald Deskey was an influential industrial design pioneer of his day. Although he studied as an architect he did not pursue architecture as a profession and instead opened a design and consulting firm in New York City with then business partner Phillip Vollmer in the roaring 20's and then later opened Donald Deskey Graphic Design in the 40's. His style progressed from Art Deco to Streamline Moderne, and his furniture pieces are highly sought after. Mr Deskey passed away in April 1989 at his home in Vero Beach, Florida.
